Company Background & History

Odana Global Transporters is a well-established road freight transport and courier company. We transport a variety of general cargo, including containers, low-loader cargos, and fuel products between Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. We are highly experienced in handling both transit and local cargo transportation. Our services cover end-to-end business needs—from customs clearing to door-to-door delivery.

Since its humble beginnings in 1998, the company has grown significantly. Starting with just three trucks, we have expanded to a fleet of over 30 trucks as of 2025, serving both local and transit cargo needs. We have diversified our operations to include clearing, forwarding, and transportation for all types of cargo.

In recent years, we established depots in Uganda and Juba to efficiently manage increased transit cargo volumes. As demand continued to grow, we also opened a depot in Kigali to serve our expanding client base. Our current fleet consists of 100 trucks (34–60 tons), including flatbeds, box-body trucks, tippers, tankers, and low-loaders—reflecting the growing demand for our reliable services.

In the past five years, we introduced the Reptela system to enhance operational efficiency. This system ensures smooth communication between our truck drivers and the control center, enabling us to provide clients with real-time updates on their shipments.

Due to our expansions our business also had to relocate to a larger more suitable premises and state of the art facility at Jomvu to accommodate our operations and large number of fleets.

Our Offices and main Fleet Depots are located Mombasa, Nairobi, Kampala, Kigali and Juba with fully equipped depots and operational equipment’s. The company has a total permanent staff compliment of 100 consisting of drivers, supervisors, operations coordinators, crane operators, mechanics and Finance and Procurement with 3 employees in management positions.
All the Staff have designated works and Roles to play in the company to smoothen the efficiency of the excellent services and operations we strive to provide to our esteemed customers and clientele.
